The popping has begun! Baby Mason

So last week Friday, 18 June 2010, one of my belly buddies gave birth to a gorgeous baby boy named Mason Chase Barensche. This is the start for a few of us other Belly Buddies that the popping has begun and that our time is coming very soon. Caz is next on 9 July, then I pop 19 July and lastly Boobahsmom pops the beginning of September. A new member to join us, Gina, only pops in January next year but this lucky lady will have all of us to turn to when her second bundle arrives.

Because we all know that a new mommy (whether it be a second or first child) is super preoccupied with her new bundle, I decided to to do a post dedicated to Baby Mason complete with pictures. Myself and Mandi (his wonderful mommy) have been chatting since about an hour and a half after his birth and she regularly sends me pics and updates. Although most of them are on Twitter, I think it is better to culminate them all in one post for her and others to enjoy.

Baby Mason was delivered by C-section with a full head of brown hair and very cute chubby cheeks. Although he is perfectly healthy, he developed a spot of jaundice and had to be put under the lights his third night to ensure it didn’t progress. He is feeding like a champ and is a very chilled boy according to his proud momma.
